WHAT’S IT FOR?

An EMI scheme allows employers to grant share options to key employees, as a reward for their efforts within the business and/or to retain and incentivise key staff. Following a detailed initial consultation, Sprintlaw can assist you with the process of setting up an EMI Option Scheme by preparing the paperwork, reviewing your constituent documents to prepare for the EMI Option Scheme and work with your accountants on getting na HRMC approved EMI valuation.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We’ll assist you with setting up an EMI Option Scheme for your business.

This package includes:

  • Phone consultations (up to 60 minutes) with a Sprintlaw lawyer
  • Preparing drafts of EMI Option Scheme documents, including the rules, offers and appropriate resolutions
  • High level review of your company’s constituent documents (such as the Articles) to prepare any necessary resolutions or changes to approve the EMI Scheme
  • 1 round of complimentary amendments to the EMI Option Scheme documents

Please note: as part of this package, Sprintlaw will work with your accountants on obtaining an HRMC approved EMI valuation. This process may take up to five weeks. You should already have an accountant to assist with the valuation process prior to making payment and commencing this process.
